A Mid 20th century General Electric tube radio model. The radio is made of a burgundy red and yellow plastic case, includes tubes, other internal parts. Marked on the front. Marked with original logo paper labels, and Underwriters Laboratoriws Inc., on the back. These amplifying vacuum tubes revolutionized radios and receivers. In 1912, General Electric's improvements to the vacuum tube helped make possible modern electronics and the home radio.
