An antique 19th century color lithograph Tigress by the Japanese artist Kishi Chikudo, 1826 to 1897. The Kishi school is well-known for its superior paintings of animals, especially the tiger. George Barrie, from 1893 to 1895 was the Philadelphia printer and publisher, and worked upon a large and lavish series of original etchings and chromolithographs detailing exhibits of the fine art from participating countries at the Worlds Columbian Exposition.
