Eugenio Zampighi was an Italian artist best known for his genre paintings of domestic scenes. His work regularly features peasants in revelry set within idyllic Italian interiors and landscapes, rendered in muted browns and warm colors. Zampighi studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in his hometown and was deeply inspired by the historicist painter Giovanni Muzzioli. One of a kind artwork.
