A set of three mid-century yearbooks of La Salle Military Academy, a Catholic high school in Oakdale, New York that functioned in the period since 1883 till 2001. The academy was famous for its rigorous training system. The books are dedicated to the years 1941, 1942, 1943 and are richly illustrated. The 1943 edition has a Testimonial Banquet brochure inside. The title of the yearbooks, The Sabre, relates to the tradition of presenting a sabre to the cadets on receiving an officer's rank. Collectible Military Americana, LSMA, Rare Vintage Books.
