A group of small antique Japanese Meiji period hand carved wooden netsuke okimono figurines. The figurines depict a frog, a horse, a crab, several nude female figurines in erotic scenes, Hotei, one of the seven gods of happiness in Shinto, and others. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century. Each is marked with a carved hieroglyphic mark of the master, on the back or on the bottom.
