Aleksandra Aleksandrovna Ekster, also known as Alexandra Exter, was a Russian and French painter, the suprematist and constructivist painter, designer, and co founder of the Art Deco movement. The name of Alexandra Exter is associated with such a fundamental trend in the history of Russian art as Cubo Futurism, a very special Russian version of futurism, reflected in numerous abstract compositions, still lifes and urban landscapes.
