Peter Max, born in 1937, German-American artist whose works are associated with the 1960s art styles, particularly psychedelic art and pop art. A set of three ceramic items was designed by Peter Max: a mug, a plate, and a bowl. Each item has a white body with a colorful insert depicting a female profile and the work Love. The design is identical excluding the color of its background. Hallmarks on the bottom of each item: Genuine China by Iroquois, Syracuse, NY. Collectible Ceramic Tableware, American 60s Design.
