An antique tall fine Chinese export porcelain vase. The vase is adorned with a courtyard scene of horsemen and soldiers made in Famille Verte technique. Circa: 19th century. Green family Famille Verte uses a range of transparent green enamels that dominate the other enamels, most often red, yellow, aubergine, underglaze cobalt blue (until the end of the 17th century) and enamel blue (from the beginning of the 18th century). These enamels were placed on a glaze after an initial firing of the piece at 1350 C. They were fired in a muffle at 750-800 C. The decoration of the Green Family really appears at the beginning of the Qing dynasty (1644-1911). Antique and Vintage, Asian, Oriental, Porcelain vases, Table Ware, Home Decor, and Collectibles.
