An antique small Austrian bronze figure of a boy. This figure features a young African child holding a comically oversized water jug when compared to his small frame and falling into a basket. The bronze is done in the manner typical of Austria and often attributed to Bergmann who did many Orientalists and African scenes in cold painted bronzes. This figure was probably part of a larger group. Circa the early 20th century.
