Margaret Moore taught music and art in Washington County Public Schools and traveled to Japan to learn the Suzuki method of learning to play the violin, which she introduced to local students. She was an accomplished and award-winning watercolorist, who exhibited throughout the Tri-State area and was a charter member of the Potomac River Artists Guild in Shepherdstown, W.Va.
