He enjoyed a successful career that encompassed the end of the nineteenth century and ventured well into the twentieth. Under the tutelage of Gustave Moreau, he worked in a variety of genres and was considered a practitioner of both the Postimpressionist and the Fauvist styles. One of a kind artwork.
