The first: Russian Fedoskino lacquered black box with a painting on the hinged lid depicting a landscape and two fishermen in the boat in a golden hue, signed by the artist, Starostin, and marked, Fedoskino, lower right, red interior. The second: a jasper box with a hinged lid and a green natural stone interior. Circa 20th century.
