Lea Halpern (Dutch, American, 1901-1985) artistic spherical ceramic vase, covered with shiny light-green glaze. Signed by the artist with initials, L. H., and numbered, on the bottom. Lea Halpern was known as the van Gogh of potters, she experimented with glazes, special effects, and innovative pigments. Provenance: The William Doyle, lot # 305.
