Hand-woven rug from dyed sheep wool with traditional Iranian Kheshti design by the Bakhtiari people. In Kheshty's design, the carpet field is divided into identical segments with different scenes within them. Typically depicted are stylized arches, cypresses, weeping willows, flowerpots, birds. The rug is well-detailed and rich in shades.
