A hand enameled carved wood triptych icon with three hinged panels. The triptych consists of a central panel and two hinged side panels, all set in a dark wood frame. Each panel contains a small, rectangular enamel icon depicting religious figures. The central panel shows the Virgin Mary with baby Jesus surrounded by figures. The four side panels show figures that are likely saints. The wood frame has decorative carvings. The central image is signed Fort, lower right.
