A lot of two ancient Roman bronze door knockers in the form of lions heads. The lions heads have a stern muzzle, a wide mane and hold a door ring in the shape of a horses stirrup in their teeth. They have holes on the top for attaching to the door. These door knockers were traditionally attached to the doors of a wealthy home or gate and were used to knock and also to pull the ring to open the door.
