A WWII Nazi German Model 1937 Reichsarbeitsdienst Fuhrer Haumesser dagger by Ernst Carl Eickhorn of Solingen. Displays wonderful details throughout, with the burnished: decorative swirls, random pebbling and wheat leaves. Both throat retaining screw remain intact and unturned. The scabbard fits the hilt perfectly. The fittings and scabbard are made of heavy metal, German Silver. The crossguard looks nice and solid. The eagle head on the pommel features wave like flowing lines into each other. Introduced in August 1934 for wear by ranks of Truppfuhrer, and above in the Reichsarbeitsdienst.
