The cylindrical form pot is adorned with a polychrome design representing birds in blossoming wisteria flowers made in the Cloisonne technique on the blue ground. The neck and the base are decorated with a scalloped motif made in the same technique. The ware features foliage, and scalloped designs made in the Cloisonne technique, on the bottom.
