He trained in Trieste and Rome and became known for his atmospheric, light-filled landscapes, vedute, and marine paintings, executed almost exclusively in watercolor. Scarvelli loved to depict motifs from Egypt, Italy, and Greece. His works are in important private and public collections such as the National Gallery in Athens. One of a kind artwork.
