Oil on board painting. Attributed to Tom Lovell, 1909 to 1997, an American artist known as a creator of pulp fiction magazine covers and illustrations, and of visual art of the American West. He painted historical Western subjects such as interactions between Indians and white settlers and traders. This lot depicts a battle between Native American warriors and settlers.
