Oil on board painting. After the 1886 artwork titled Unveiling The Statue of Liberty Enlightening the World by Edward Moran, 1829 to 1901, an English-born American painter who specialized in marine art and the maritime history of the United States. The artwork depicts a historical event near Bedloes Island in which thousands of spectators gathered in boats for the dedication of the Statue of Liberty. The original is now in the collection of the Museum of the City of New York. Unsigned. Golden frame. Collectible Fine Art, Historical Genre, Americana.
