Paul Edouard Delabrierre, French, 1829 to 1912, a bronze sculpture of a lion. Signed to the base. Dates to the late 19th century. Paul Delabrierre was an animalier sculptor. He had 70 of his sculptures juried into the prestigious Salon art exhibition held annually in Paris. His monumental work called LEquitation adorns the facade of the Louvre.
