An antique Japanese Ando Jubei silver mounted cloisonne vase from the Meiji period, featuring an image of a flying phoenix on a lemon yellow background. Marked with a makers mark to the base. The silver base mount is hallmarked with a silver mark. Circa the early 20th century. Ando Jubei, 1876 to 1953, was one of the most important cloisonne artists in Japan and was highly acclaimed for his artistry and refined work. Antique Japanese Vases And Enamel Collectibles.
