An antique German Rosenthal porcelain figurine. Featuring a dancer Janine designed by Dorothea Charol, circa 1926. The figurine decorated with polychrome enamels, she is dressed in a short suit without sleeves, large ruffles on the left and right hips fall to the floor in the form of long trains. She is wearing dainty blue shoes. Arms are raised in front of her chest, which gives her a defensive look. She stands on a white square base. Signed D. Charol on the base. Marked with an underglaze green manufacturers mark, on the bottom. Rosenthal is a German manufacturer of porcelain products and other household goods.
