An antique German Meissen porcelain figure The Wedding of Bacchus and Venus. The figure is polychrome painted, featuring a drunk Bacchus, holding a goblet. There is a leopard lying under him. A seated figure of Venus with wine goblet, in the foreground two doves, in the background a leafy tree with amorette and Cupid, holding a basket of flowers and a wine bottle, the rocaille base heightened with gilt.
