Oil on canvas painting by Manjit Bawa, 1941 to 2008, an Indian painter, student of Somnath Hore. Bawa is known for his distinctive use of color. The artwork depicts a flute player and two bulls. Signed by the artist and dated 1998 on the backside. The painting comes with a certificate of authenticity, also signed by the artist. In India, the bull represents a prosperous agricultural society and is linked to Lord Shiva, one of the principal deities in Hinduism. Collectible Contemporary Fine Art, Southeast Asian Artists.
