A watercolor on paper painting depicting a colorful abstract composition. Signed in pencil lower right: Marwan. Marwan Kassab Bachi, Syrian, 1934 to 2016, was a Syrian painter. Born in Damascus, he first studied at Damascus University before moving to Berlin, Germany, where he enrolled in the Hochschule der Bildende Kunste.
