Acrylic on canvas painting, attributed to Francis Newton Souza, also known as F.N. Souza, 1924 to 2002, a pioneer of Indian Modern art, founding member of the Bombay Progressive Artists Group. The artwork depicts a group of people at the festive table, an allusion to the Last Supper. Signed and dated 1989 in the upper left. Collectible Mid Century Modernist Graphic Art, Southeast Asian Artists.
