After George Percival Sproule Keyt, Sri Lankan, 1901 to 1993, an oil painting on canvas depicting a scene with a hansa, an aquatic migratory bird, referred to in ancient Sanskrit texts. Signed lower left and dated 1952. George Keyt is often considered Sri Lankas most distinguished modern painter. Keyts dominant style is influenced by cubism.
