Attributed to Francis Newton Souza, Indian, 1924 to 2002, an oil painting on canvas depicting a double portrait of a man and woman. Signed upper right and dated 1958. Comes with the certificate of authenticity. Francis Newton Souza was an artist of modern Indian painting, and a founding member of the Bombay Progressive Artists Group.
