A German drypoint etching on paper by Hans Meid titled Unter den Linden. The artwork depicts smartly dressed people walking along the boulevard Unter den Linden in Berlin. Matted. Signed in pencil lower right. Titled lower left. Additionally inscribed on the backside. Hans Meid, 1883 to 1957, a German Impressionist painter, known also for lithography, engraving, etching, and teaching. Note: Drypoint is a printmaking technique of the intaglio family, in which an image is incised into a plate with a hard pointed needle of sharp metal or diamond point.
