The first medal is dedicated to the accession to the throne of Empress Anna Ioannovna, 1930. The second medal marks the foundation of the Mining College in St. Petersburg, 1775. The medals are encompassed with diamonds and amethysts. The clasp is set with a sapphire cabochon. The interior is lined with green felt.
