Oil on canvas painting by Alma Woodsey Thomas, 1891 to 1978, an African-American artist and teacher who lived and worked in Washington, DC. The artwork is an abstract colorful circle composition in the artists signature pictorial manner. Signed in the lower right. Undated. Presumably from the Space series, inspired by the total solar eclipse that occurred on March 7, 1970, and was visible from across the Eastern United States. Golden frame.
