One engraving depicts Peik, a member of the bodyguard of halberdiers, numbered 9 in the plate, while the other shows a Coffee Seller, numbered 56 in the plate. Published by Jacques le Hay in the early 18th century. Jean Baptiste Vanmour was a painter, remembered for his detailed portrayal of life in the Ottoman Empire during the Tulip Era and the rule of Sultan Ahmed III.
