Viktor Mikhaylovich Vasnetsov, Russian, 1848 to 1926, was a Russian artist who specialized in mythological and historical subjects. Fedoskino miniature is a folk craft, a type of Russian lacquer miniature painting with oil paints on papier mache, which developed at the end of the 18th century in the village of Fedoskino near Moscow.
