Pastel on paper painting by Gertrude Abercrombie, 1909 to 1977, an American painter based in Chicago famous for her bohemian lifestyle. The artwork represents a Surrealist night landscape with a house and tree. Titled Green House. Signed by the artist and dated 1945 in the lower right. Grey mat, wooden frame. Philadelphia Museum label and stamp on the reverse. Collectible Postwar American Modernist Fine Art.
