Attributed to Shozo Shimamoto, Japanese, 1928 to 2013,a mixed media painting on paper depicting an abstract composition. Matted and framed. Signed lower right. Having studied with Jiro Yoshihara, the future Gutai leader, from 1947, Shimamoto was a key founding member of Gutai along with Yoshihara and fifteen others in August, 1954.
