Charles Edouard Tzschupke, German French, 1875 to 1929, a watercolor painting on board depicting an impressionist view of the Strasbourg Cathedral. Signed by the artist and dated 1920 lower left. Framed. Provenance: OASIS Gallery, Laval, Quebec, Canada. Charles Edouard Tzschupke was given the honorific nickname rose and cathedral painter. He was able to present his paintings at various exhibitions, including the Salon des Artistes Alsaciens at Magmod and the Salon des Artistes Alsaciens at the Orangerie in Strasbourg.
