An antique late 19th century French cast bronze mantel clock with key-wind mechanism. The also features two matching decorative urns on pedestals. Footed Aleppo breccia marble base. The clock is set with a sculpture of seated Greek philosopher Plato, a scroll in his hands has an inscription Oui, l ame est immortelle, Yes, the soul is immortal. White dial with Roman numerals. Collectible Neoclassical Interior Decor, Clocks And Watches, French Ormolu.
