An antique 19th century Russian solid silver enamel desk clock. The clock mechanism is crafted by Georges Favre-Jacot, featuring a white dial with Roman numerals for hours, Arabic numerals for minutes, and a seconds window, with 23 rubies. The silver case is made by Pavel Sazikov, adorned with a detailed silver female figurine holding a shield inscribed with the initials JP, and includes a winding key attached to a chain. The entire ensemble rests on a nephrite jade stand. Engraved, Georges Favre-Jacot, and hallmarked with the manufacturer mark for Sazikov, an 84 Russian silver standard, the assayer mark featuring the year 1865, and George the Victorious for Moscow. Sazikov is a jewelry company founded in 1810 in Moscow, which became famous for its production of jewelry from gold, silver and precious stones. Winner of various awards at international and Russian exhibitions. Supplier to the Court of His Imperial Majesty.
