A Russian gilt silver cane handle decorated with a Russian Imperial coat of arms representing a double headed eagle set with diamonds and a central gemstone, most likely ruby, on a red guilloche enamel ground flanked by gilt silver bands adorned with cast ribbon and wreath designs. The piece is topped with a silver frog figurine with emerald eyes. Hallmarked with an 88 Russian silver standard and other Russian hallmarks. Comes in an original fitted box.
