A Russian Karelian birch wooden cigarette case featuring gilt-silver embossed decorations on the hinged lid. The design includes a crowned enameled shield bearing the initials of Nicholas II, adorned with a crown set with diamonds. The lower part is embellished with a ruby cabochon surrounded by a knot-ribbon and laurel wreath motif. Hallmarked with the 84 Russian silver proof and manufacturer marks.
