After the ca. 1824 artwork titled Portrait of Moanahonga by Charles Bird King, 1785 to 1862, an American portrait artist, best known for his portrayals of significant Native American leaders and tribesmen. Moanahonga, known as Big Neck or Great Walker, was an Iowa Nation leader. The original is now in the collection of the Huntington Library, CA. Wooden frame.
