An antique Japanese Meiji period cloisonne vase. It has a bulbous body that sits on a short foot, and a long, slender neck. The vase is decorated with a multi colored floral design. The design is executed in the cloisonné technique, where thin metal wires are used to create compartments which are then filled with colored enamel. The colors used are a variety of golds, reds, greens, and blues, and feature both geometric shapes and floral motifs. Antique Japanese Enamel Vases For Collectors.
