An extra large Russian Silver kovsh. The kovsh has a traditional oval shaped drinking vessel or ladle with a single raised handle. The front is made in a sculptural design representing a crowned rooster, encrusted with Ruby stone eyes. The body and the handle of the ware are encrusted with Amethyst and Topaz cabochons. A gold wash interior. Marked with an 84 Russian Silver standard hallmark, a makers mark, and manufacturer marks, on the bottom. Collectible Russian Silverware, Serveware And Tableware. Total weight: 900 g.
