Watercolor and collage on paper painting. After works by Jean Dubuffet, 1901 to 1985, a French artist associated with School of Paris, founder of the Art Brut movement. This lot resembles Dubuffets works Personnage en marche, 1962 and the Presences fugaces series, 1973. It represents an abstract fleeting character deconstructed into interlocking irregular, precisely outlined shapes in blue and red colors against the black background. Signed and dated 1962 in the lower right. Collectible Modernist Graphic Art.
