Ink and watercolor painting on rice paper. Attributed to Xu Beihong, 1895 - 1953, a Chinese artist and art teacher whose art is considered the essence of 20th-century China. The artwork depicts a standing horse. Inscription and artists seals are in the lower right and upper left. Blue jacquard mat, golden bamboo-style frame.
