An oil on canvas still life painting by Bibi Zogbe, 1890 to 1973. The painting depicts several types of potted houseplants on a blue and beige background. Signed Bibi Zogbe lower left. Framed. Bibi Zogbe was a Lebanese born painter based in Buenos Aires, Argentina best known for her depiction of wild flora. Nicknamed La Pintura de Flores, or The Flower Painter in Spanish, she often painted heavily symbolic still lifes as well as portraits. Collectible Mid Century Modernist Fine Art, Women Artists.
