Fedir Zotykovych Konovalyuk was a painter, graphic artist. He received his initial artistic skills in the icon painting workshop of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra. In the early mid 1900s, under the leadership of I. S. Izhakevich, he participated in the painting of churches in the Kiev Pechersk Lavra and in Yekaterinoslavl. Studied at the Kiev Art School with V. K. Menk, A. A. Murashko, the Higher Art School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture at the Imperial Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg with V. E. Makovsky, Kiev Art Institute with F. G. Krichevsky.
