Stepan Fedorovich Kolesnikov, Russian, 1879 to 1955, a gouache painting on paper laid down on board, titled The Campers at Rest. Signed lower right. Matted and framed. Comes with the catalog of the Shapiro Auctions New York, April 17, 2008, where it is indicated as lot 67. Provenance: Acquired by Dr. laaac Wolpowicz, Paris, circa 1940. Acquired from Dr. Wolpowicz by a private collector in 2006, Christie's New York, April 18, 2007, lot 40, Private Collection, USA.
